Your Network Read, Hi2Hired
Data Processing & AI Disclosure
Effective date: June 1, 2026 Last updated: June 1, 2026

1. On-Screen Consent (App Reference)

The following is the consent language displayed on the upload step of the application. The consent box must be checked before the report can be generated.

The “Generate Report” button remains disabled until the box is checked. The box is unchecked by default.

2. Why This Disclosure Exists

When you upload your LinkedIn data export to generate Your Network Read, you are sharing detailed information about your professional network. This disclosure explains exactly what happens with that data, who sees it, and what we do not do with it.

This disclosure supplements the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is the controlling document. This disclosure focuses on the data flow during report generation.

3. How Your Data Flows

4. What Categories of Data We Process

Your connections and professional network

The names, current job titles, current employers, connection dates, and LinkedIn profile URLs of your direct LinkedIn connections. This is the core data that powers your report.

Your own profile

Your professional headline, summary, industry, geographic location, and employment history.

Your message activity (metadata only)

Who you have messaged on LinkedIn and when. We use this data only to determine how recently and how often you have communicated with each connection. We do not read or analyze the content of your messages.

Your endorsements and recommendations

Who has endorsed your skills and who has written recommendations for you. We use this to identify connections who have publicly vouched for you. We do not analyze the text of recommendations beyond identifying the author.

Your activity signals

Companies you have applied to via LinkedIn, jobs you have saved, your job title and location preferences, and patterns in your LinkedIn search history (analyzed for job search signals only, not retained).

LinkedIn’s inferences about you

Categorizations LinkedIn has made about you for ad targeting purposes, including inferred job titles, professional function, seniority level, and audience segments. These inferences are generated by LinkedIn, not by us. You may not be aware that LinkedIn maintains this data. To view or adjust it, visit your LinkedIn ad preferences settings.

5. What We Do Not Process

6. AI Processing Details

Provider: Anthropic, Inc.

What is sent to Anthropic: Your extracted LinkedIn data (in the categories described in Section 4) and your intake responses, structured as prompts to Claude.

What Anthropic does with it:

Other AI providers: None. We do not use OpenAI, Google, Meta, or any other AI provider. Anthropic is the only AI sub-processor. If this changes, we will update this disclosure.

For Anthropic’s current terms: Anthropic data retention policy.

7. Important Things to Understand

The people in your network did not directly consent to this processing.
Your LinkedIn connections, the people whose names, titles, and employers appear in your data, did not individually consent to having their information processed as part of generating your report. By uploading your data, you represent that you are authorized to do so under your relationship with LinkedIn and applicable law. See Terms of Service Section 4.2 for the full representation you make.

The report reads LinkedIn signals, not your full relationship history. Your Network Read cannot see that you worked with someone at a previous employer, that you have an ongoing relationship outside LinkedIn, or that a contact is someone you would not want to approach. When the report characterizes a relationship as active, dormant, or untouched, that reflects LinkedIn activity only. Before acting on any recommendation, consider what you know about that relationship that LinkedIn doesn’t. You know your connections better than any data analysis can.

This report does not guarantee any outcome. Your Network Read gives you a data-driven read of your network. It does not guarantee any outcome, including a job, a deal, an introduction, a referral, a response from any contact, or any other result. Results depend on your actions, your market, and factors outside our control.

LinkedIn’s inferences may surprise you. Your LinkedIn data export includes categorizations LinkedIn has made about you for ad targeting. You may not have known LinkedIn maintained this information. You can view, modify, or limit these inferences in your LinkedIn account settings.

AI makes mistakes. Your report is AI-generated. It may contain factual errors or inaccurate inferences. Before acting on any specific recommendation, especially one involving reaching out to a named person, verify the relevant facts independently.

You are responsible for what you do with the report. The report is analysis. The outreach is your decision. We do not draft, send, or supervise any communication you have with your contacts.

8. How to Limit Specific Data Processing

If you do not want certain categories of data processed, you can remove the corresponding files from your LinkedIn export ZIP before uploading. The application will skip any missing data and note in your report that the corresponding analysis is not available.

If you want to opt out of data processing entirely, do not purchase or use Your Network Read.

9. Your Rights

Your full privacy rights are described in our Privacy Policy. To exercise any right, contact julia@hi2hired.com.
